Lucky strike - veneer from maple bar

Thanks to our long-standing good contacts with forest owners and sawmills, we always come across beautiful veneer logs.
But what looks great on the outside can always turn out differently on the inside...
Our GL and veneer boss Tobi Scherg had a special experience in May. While cutting a maple trunk, he came across a striking "bar structure".
This rather rare freak of nature is in great demand, especially for higher-quality interior fittings. It would probably fetch a lot of money on the open market. However, we first offer this log to our loyal customers at a "normal" price.
