Roser AG is supporting the next generation of joiners at the 2026 Apprentice Competition

Creativity, craftsmanship and a great deal of dedication: at the Basel Vocational and Further Education Fair, trainee joiners presented pieces of furniture they had designed and made themselves. Roser AG supported the awards ceremony for this year’s apprentice competition by sponsoring the reception, thereby demonstrating its commitment to promoting the next generation of carpenters.

On 15 October 2026, the awards ceremony for the apprenticeship competition took place at the stand of the Basel-Stadt Master Carpenters’ Association (VSSM) . Under the motto ‘Recharge Station – Recharge your batteries for creative minds!’, apprentices in their second to fourth years of training had designed, planned and crafted their own pieces of furniture in their spare time.

The works on display impressively demonstrated just how much creativity, precision and craftsmanship are involved in the carpentry trade. From the initial idea to the finished piece of furniture, the young talents demonstrated their skills and their enthusiasm for working with wood.

Commitment to the next generation

As a long-standing partner of the carpentry trade, Roser AG is particularly committed to supporting the next generation of professionals. By sponsoring the drinks reception held during the awards ceremony, Roser AG helped ensure the competition concluded on a high note and recognised the achievements of these young professionals.

Supporting the next generation is an investment in the future of our trade. Well-trained, motivated skilled workers are crucial to ensuring that the quality, innovative spirit and passion for wood as a material are preserved for the future.

We warmly congratulate all participants on their impressive work and their great commitment. We would also like to thank the Basel-Stadt Master Carpenters’ Association for organising the event and for their valuable work in promoting the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
