On 19 June 2026, the Annual General Meeting of Initiative Furnier + Natur e.V. took place at Decospan in 8930 Menen, Belgium. Roser AG was represented by Rafael Waber, who used the occasion to engage in professional discussions with leading companies from the European veneer and timber industry.
The delegation had already met at Decospan the previous day, 18 June 2026. The participants were given an impressive tour of the production facilities and the spacious storage areas of the Belgian veneer specialist. This provided an opportunity to experience first-hand modern processes, industrial manufacturing expertise and the latest developments in the field of veneer and wood-based materials.
During the official IFN General Assembly, chaired by Axel Groh, the focus was on industry dialogue, current market issues and the continued promotion of veneer as a natural material. For Roser AG, active participation in such industry meetings is a key component of its commitment to quality and networking.
Our customers benefit directly from this commitment: through regular dialogue with manufacturers, trading partners and industry experts, Roser stays abreast of new developments, products, processing solutions and market trends. This knowledge is incorporated into our consultancy services, product range design and project support – particularly where bespoke veneer solutions, high-quality finishes and reliable supply chains are required.
The IFN General Assembly also agreed to hold its next meeting on 10 and 11 June 2027 in Estonia, near Tallinn at Balti Spoon. The IFN would like to extend its sincere thanks to Edmund Smolarek for his kind invitation.
We would like to thank Decospan for their hospitality, the impressive insights and the valuable professional exchange.
