When it comes to high-quality yacht interiors, it is not just the type of wood that matters. Colour, grain, cut, veneer size and grading all play a decisive role in determining the appearance of the finished surface.
Thanks to our in-house veneer production, Roser AG is able to influence the eventual appearance right from the selection of the raw timber. Together with our clients, we define the desired veneer pattern and select suitable logs in accordance with the design and technical requirements of the project.

From classic precious woods to unusual specialist veneers, real wood veneer offers an enormous range of design possibilities.
Depending on the desired effect, a yacht’s interior can, for example, be designed using understated walnut veneers, elegant oak, light-coloured woods or striking speciality veneers.
Our veneer library provides an insight into the wide range of possibilities. For a specific project, we’ll work with you to select suitable veneers and available logs.
Veneer Imager – Veneer selection regardless of the project location
International projects require quick and straightforward coordination.
With our Veneer Imager, entire veneer logs can be digitally displayed and assessed. This gives designers, interior fitters and project managers a realistic impression of the colour, texture and grain pattern without having to travel to Birsfelden in person to make an initial selection.
Suitable logs can thus be compared at an early stage and jointly selected for the project.
On request, we can of course also arrange for you to view samples and select materials in person at our ‘konzept.raum’ in Birsfelden or at your own premises.
Project-specific solutions for yacht interiors
Selecting the right veneer is often just the beginning.
In yacht projects, design, weight, material composition and workmanship must all be coordinated. We therefore work with interior fitters, designers and project partners to assess veneer thickness, format, grain pattern, substrate and further processing on a project-by-project basis. Specific technical requirements can be taken into account right from the material selection stage.
The aim: a veneer solution that is both aesthetically and technically suited to the respective interior fit-out.
Discretion is part and parcel of yacht building
Confidentiality is a matter of course for us
Exclusive yacht projects require a high degree of discretion.
Roser AG’s veneers are also used in high-end yacht and luxury projects. However, the names of yachts, owners, shipyards, design studios or project partners are often not permitted to be disclosed.
We naturally respect this confidentiality.
For this reason, we are unable to publicly present many projects as references. Instead, we would be happy to show you our veneer options, suitable logs, grades and bespoke production solutions for your specific project.
For us, confidentiality is just as much a part of an exclusive yacht project as the careful selection of materials.

Please let us know what effect you’d like to achieve, what areas are involved and what requirements the project must meet. Together, we’ll define the type of wood, veneer pattern, quality, quantities and any further processing required.
If suitable raw material is available, appropriate logs can be selected. Should a desired type of veneer not be available, we’ll be happy to source it for you.
