High-quality interior fit-out for municipal administration with fine oak veneer
As part of the comprehensive refurbishment and targeted extension of the Muri municipal centre, Roser AG was able to make a significant contribution to the high-quality interior fit-out with veneer. The aim of the project was to modernise the existing structure, redefine the entrance situation and transform the office floors into open, flexible work zones.
The consistent use of oak veneer resulted in a contemporary administration building that combines functionality, architectural clarity and a warm, natural appearance.

The optimum veneer solution in oak was defined at an early stage of the project together with the architects and the Team Graf AG joinery. Various options were analysed, in particular the effect of slanted and mirrored veneer.
A customised, lacquered sample in approx. A1 format was created to enable a well-founded decision to be made. This enabled a realistic assessment of the oak veneer look in board character and formed the basis for the subsequent realisation in the entire building.

The veneer in plain oak was used throughout the interior fit-out across several floors and decisively characterises the architectural identity:
- Wall panelling in oak veneer
- Doors with high-quality veneer
- Fire protection doors in veneer
- Stair railings across 7 floors - continuous and uninterrupted in oak veneer
- 3 kitchens
- Reception desk system (approx. 15 m²) in oak veneer
- Various fire protection components, veneered and lacquered in plain oak

The Muri community centre project is an example of a modern interior design with oak veneer that perfectly combines aesthetics and functionality. The consistent use of oak veneer creates a calm, high-quality overall appearance across all floors.
A decisive success factor was the use of Veneer Express Fixmasse. This product made it possible to realise an exceptionally uniform veneer pattern across a very large quantity - a key prerequisite for the homogeneous design across all components and seven floors without visual interruptions.
The combination of precise planning, high-quality veneer, careful sampling and close co-operation between all those involved in the project led to a result that meets the highest standards in terms of both technology and design. Today, the Muri community centre presents itself as a sustainable, modern administration building with a clear architectural identity - characterised by the natural elegance of oak veneer.
