Plywood panels Sea pine and oak veneer - wood as a formative design element

The architecture office Buchner Bründler has converted and extended the youth hostel in the historic Basel St. Alban valley with many creative elements. The architects chose the lively plywood panels of maritime pine with their highly visible wood structure and the rather calm, warm-toned oak veneer for the room doors in Roser's warehouse. The veneered sliding doors had to match the sea pine plywood panels in appearance and structure. During the construction Roser was able to ensure that the materials used by the craftsmen met the specifications and ideas of the architects.
