A floor with character - natural, durable, timeless
Together with Innenausbaumann GmbH, Roser AG was able to realise a customised parquet solution for the interior of this puristically designed detached house. The customer's requirements were clearly defined: a natural, cosy floor with a special laying pattern and a modern look.
The result is an exclusively manufactured 2-layer parquet in a special 765 x 153 mm format, made from European smoked oak in almost knot-free quality (Natura grade). The surface has been lightly brushed and finished with a natural-coloured, oxidatively oiled finish - a treatment that supports the indoor climate in a natural way.
Herringbone installation - but thought differently
The floor was laid in a herringbone pattern parallel to the wall - a deliberate design decision that lends the room a special dynamism while at the same time preserving its tranquillity. The warm fawn colour of the smoked oak harmonises perfectly with the clear, understated style of the house.
